Joanne’s Strictly Brackley Town has quickly become one of the most exciting, joyful community events in the area, raising over £67,000 for charity in just four years.
It all began in 2023, when 14 incredible local heroes took to the dance floor for the very first time, raising over £11,500.
In 2024, the show grew even bigger, with 15 heroes stepping up to the challenge and raising an amazing £20,000.
By 2025, with 18 inspiring heroes, the event had become a true community highlight, raising £14,252.53 for Animals in Need Northamptonshire and The Chatty Café Scheme.
And then came 2026… our biggest year yet.
With two sell-out shows, over 600 audience members, and an electric atmosphere, our heroes helped raise an incredible £15,321.09 for Dementia UK and Katharine House Hospice.
Each year, our heroes step out of their comfort zones, learn to dance in just 7 weeks, and become part of something truly inclusive, accessible, and joyful, a once-in-a-lifetime experience that brings the whole community together.
And now… it’s your turn.

Katharine House Hospice
2026 Local Charity

Katharine House Hospice provides specialist palliative care for adults with an incurable illness across north Oxfordshire and south Northamptonshire.
Hospice care is for anyone over the age of 18 years who has an advanced life-limiting illness. At Katharine House, the care is delivered by a multi-professional team who have specialised in this field and take a holistic approach, considering physical, emotional, social and spiritual needs.
We also recognise the importance of those close to our patients. Family and friends are affected too and they may have lots of concerns and questions that we can answer and support.
Without the support of the community, we couldn’t provide the physiotherapy or social work, the well-being relaxation classes, the specially made home cooked meals, the one-to-one social care, the bereavement support, the arts and crafts, the fun and laughter.
We couldn’t keep the heart of the hospice going without our wonderful network of supporters. We simply wouldn’t exist without the donations you give, the money you raise and the support you provide.
We'll be deciding on our new local charity in the summer of 2027.
