A Bit About Jules
Julie’s dance journey began in childhood, competing in Old Time Sequence dancing at competitions across the UK until the age of 14.
Forty-three years later, in honour of her mum, Julie rediscovered her love of dance, stepping onto the dance floor as a Hero in 2023, and returning again as a Pro in 2025. That experience completely reignited her dancing spirit and reminded her just how powerful dance can be.
Alongside her passion for dance, Julie brings an incredible wealth of life experience. After 24 years working clinically and nationally with the NHS, she has a deep understanding of people, wellbeing, and the importance of confidence, encouragement, and community.
Dancing with the JBDC community brings Julie enormous joy, and joining Joanne’s team is something she’s truly excited about. She loves supporting others, sharing positive energy, and helping dancers feel comfortable, capable, and proud of themselves, both on and off the dance floor.
